We speak about design a lot. About new shapes, trends, launches. But the truth is — we can design all we want, and yet, without them, the artisans, the hands behind, nothing would come to life. We designed it, sure. But they actualised it. They made it happen.

Walking into one of our first big exhibitions felt like stepping onto a fashion battlefield. We were surrounded by the giants — Tarun Tahiliani, Torani, Anushree Reddy. Their booths were plush, their teams polished, PR teams, glossy branding, flawless packaging, massive budgets with everything perfectly in place.

We had just launched Kosha. It was the festive season, and we took a big leap — emotionally and financially — spending nearly a lakh to book an exhibition we believed would be a turning point.

Our first exhibition was chaotic — and honestly, pretty terrifying. We booked it before our stock was even ready, assuming everything would fall into place in time and we’d be ready.
